Rubber Speed Humps & Ramps, Traffic Calming That Lasts

Speed humps are the quiet enforcers of parking areas, campuses, and industrial sites, and rubber is the material that installs without pouring concrete and survives being driven over thousands of times a day. We supply modular rubber humps and ramps in sections sized to your road, with cable-protection variants for sites running power across traffic.

Modular rubber speed hump ramp with high-visibility striping for traffic calming
01Overview

Why Rubber Speed Humps & Ramps From Us

Asphalt and concrete humps are permanent in every sense: hard to install, harder to relocate, and prone to chipping under truck traffic. Modular rubber humps bolt down in sections, follow the road's width exactly, and can be lifted and re-laid when site layouts change. The rubber deforms slightly under wheels, which is gentler on vehicles while still enforcing the speed the site needs.

The same modular system solves a second problem: cable ramps that carry power, data, and hoses safely across vehicle routes, dropping cables into protected channels instead of leaving them exposed to be crushed. Sites combine humps and cable ramps from one supplier, one bolt pattern, one installation crew.

Rubber speed ramp installed across a roadway at an industrial site
  • Modular sections bolted to asphalt or concrete, no casting or curing
  • Removable and relocatable when site layouts change
  • High-visibility striping that reads day and night
  • Cable-ramp variants protecting power and data runs across traffic
02Applications

Where Rubber Speed Humps & Ramps Earn Their Keep

01

Parking Facilities

Speed control in basement and multi-level parking where pedestrian and vehicle paths cross.

02

Industrial Sites

Humps at blind corners, pedestrian crossings, and yard entrances where forklifts and trucks mix.

03

Schools & Campuses

Traffic calming on internal roads during drop-off and pickup hours.

04

Cable & Hose Protection

Ramp sections carrying event power, site cables, and welding hoses across vehicle routes.

05

Residential & Commercial Estates

Estate roads where through-traffic speeds need holding down without full civil works.

03Materials & Options

The Right Compound, Not Just Any Rubber

Every material below is stocked and formulated for speed humps. Not sure which fits? Describe the application and our engineers will match it for you.

NR/SBR Blends

Tough, dense compounds engineered to take wheel loading repeatedly without cracking.

EPDM

Full outdoor exposure: sun, rain, and temperature swings over years of service.

High-Visibility Elements

Striping and reflector provisions that keep the hump visible in headlights and low light.

Custom Options

  • Section counts sized to your road width, end caps included
  • Bolt-down anchoring for asphalt and concrete surfaces
  • Cable channel configurations for power, data, and hose runs
  • Hump heights matched to the target speed profile

FAQ

Rubber Speed Humps & Ramps, Answered

What is the difference between a speed hump, a speed bump, and a ramp?

A speed bump is short and aggressive, suited to car parks at very low speeds. A speed hump is longer and gentler, letting vehicles pass at moderate site speeds without spine-jarring impact. A ramp is a low, flat-topped profile, and in cable-ramp form it carries services across the road. We supply the profile your site's speed target calls for.

How are rubber humps installed on existing roads?

Sections bolt down into asphalt or concrete with standard anchors, no casting or curing, so installation is measured in hours and the road stays usable the same day. Damaged sections swap out individually instead of replacing the whole run.

Can humps be relocated when we re-plan the site?

Yes, and that is rubber's real advantage over cast humps: unbolt, move, re-bolt. Sites that reconfigure yards, events, or traffic flows reuse the same sections for years.

Do you supply cable ramps that match the humps?

We do, from the same modular system, with channel configurations for power, data, and hoses. Sites commonly combine both under one installation and one bolt spec.

We only need one crossing calmed. Is that too small an order?

Single-run orders are normal business. Send the road width and the target speed and we will quote the sections, end caps, and anchors for that one crossing.single-run orders are normal business

Can an urgent safety order be produced quickly?

Yes. When a site incident or inspection puts a date on traffic calming, rush manufacturing applies. Include the deadline with your request and feasibility is confirmed before you schedule the installers.
